The racing rules for canoe and kayak dimensions saw a dramatic change when Congress decided to abolish the minimum
beam rule. We at Kirton Kayaks decided that this was the moment for a complete redesign of our range and the following
three K1 models are the first result.

This design made under licence from Portugal exploits the old racing rules to the maximum with cutaway deck, sweeping maximum beam and low rear deck. A comfortable platform from which to achieve good results.
