This KIRTON design bridges the stability gap between the Talisman and the faster designs such as the Talon (see Racing Kayaks). It is a racing kayak with enough stability to give the developing paddler the necessary confidence to perform to the best of their ability.

An established KIRTON design the Talisman looks every bit a racing kayak yet it has achieved a very stable cross section and a surprisingly good turn of speed.

A recent KIRTON design which supercedes the well loved Effendi. A very stable platform for developing good paddling technique and, with its well rounded decks, a comfortable design for fast touring in open water.

A famous KIRTON design, now in its sixth edition, has introduced more British paddlers to kayak racing than any other double. The current version includes long cockpits to aid trimming with mis-matched paddler weights. Cockpits are set wide apart for greater paddler freedom. A classic design, it still has sufficient speed to be regularly included in the first ten boats home in the annual Devizes to Westminster super marathon.

Designed by KIRTON to cater for racers who find other doubles too unstable, this model has already established a firm following. The deck design matches that of its sister the Mirage. In its trials the Mystère surprised us with an unexpected turn of speed which has been confirmed by satisfied users.
