After more than 30 years experience in
building the highest quality racing kayaks and canoes which have been the
choice of many world champions Kirton have, in collaboration with Rob
Feloy, started to focus increased attention on the burgeoning market for
sea kayaks.
This is ,of course, by no means Kirton's first foray into sea boats. Many
paddlers still wax lyrical about the handling of the Meridian single which they
continue to rate among the best ever even though it is now some 20 years
old.

sea paddler can find a Kirton boat to suit his needs. Whether it be Racing,
Touring, Expeditions or simple Day boating there is a Kirton made for the

Please remember, in our factory using
the invaluable experience gained building light weight racing boats and
employing the latest materials & vacuum bagging techniques we can
construct your sea kayak so that it does not have to break your back every
time you lift it out of the water. The weight can be kept low without
adversely affecting strength.
Sea kayaks from Kirton are designed by canoeists, built by canoeists and
sold by canoeists - we know what matters to you.
When you are out in a 'big sea' you must have a boat you can trust that
boat is a Kirton.

Peter Bray makes landfall after 72 days at
sea. Congratulations to Peter on his remarkable paddle across the North Atlantic. The first by kayak. Peter came
to Kirton Kayaks to have his kayak made light and strong and
able to weather the atlantic storms.
